Happy Anniversary to I Heart Faces, who began one year ago and has already grown into an amazing network! We heart you Angie and Amy!

I also (super puffy) heart my husband, Sean. He's sweet, loving and quite handsome, but most of the time he goons in front of my camera. But this week I was determined to capture my favorite part of him, his amazing eyes. They're this gorgeous green and they truly are the windows to his soul. Every expression of his is portrayed in them. In was hoping for this fierce, piercing look that he used while playing Macbeth. Because he made my knees quiver when he played Macbeth.

But it didn't go as smoothly as I'd hoped. He had promised to let me photograph him this morning before work, but as my alarm went off I heard a cough from the other half of the bed an an "I'm sick". So instead of polished and off to work this morning he was drowsy and half asleep on the couch. But he still kept his promise and let me click away. I didn't get quite the intensity I had dreamed, but I still love the ones I took because they show how much he loves and supports me and my crazy shutterbug passion.

Sean 2

It's probably best he wasn't at full strength. Quivering knees cause camera shake.

Go check out the rest of the faces at I Heart Faces. And while you're there, ogle over the major redesign by Amy Locurto.

Awwwwwwwwwwwww. What a good guy to let you click even when he is sick! My husband is not such a fan of the camera either! He does have nice eyes!

Great picture Brie. But we can't see how green his eyes are in black and white!

I ended up black and whiting it to combat the sick :) It's funny but I'm loving this shot more and more as I look...ok, stare at it.

I missed my calling as a ribbon dancer. Only my kitties appreciate the depth of my talent.
